Ingredients
2 teaspoons - Cannabutter
6 cloves - Garlic, peeled and minced
1 stalk - Green onion, chopped
2 bunches - Enoki mushrooms
1 teaspoon - Paprika
1 teaspoon - Cayenne pepper
1 teaspoon - Onion powder
¾ cup - Beer
1 tablespoon - Garlic powder
½ teaspoon - 5 spice
½ teaspoon - White pepper
½ cup - All purpose flour
⅓ cup - Potato starch
½ teaspoon - Baking powder
2 teaspoons - Sesame oil
1 teaspoon - Chili oil
1 cup - Japanese Mayo
1 tablespoon - Soy sauce
1 tablespoon - Lime juice
A pinch - Salt
A pinch - Black pepper
A pinch - Sugar
Sesame seeds
Cooking oil
Instructions

In a bowl, mix together the Japanese mayo, cannabutter, chili oil, sesame oil, lime juice and soy sauce

Set the dipping sauce aside for later

Chop green onions

Peel and mince garlic

Break apart the enoki mushrooms and put it aside

Heat your frying oil to 375F

In a large mixing bowl, add the potato starch, baking powder, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, onion powder, white pepper, garlic powder, paprika and cayenne

Add in the beer and mix well until combined

Dredge the mushrooms into the batter and drop it in the oil

Fry the mushrooms for 1-2 minutes until golden and remove

Sprinkle with green onions and sesame seeds and dip in the sauce

Quick refry for the extra crisp

Tips

Drip off the excess batter before frying so it doesn’t get clumpy

Sprinkle some salt or furikake on top for a little extra seasoning
-
Ice cubes keep the batter cold to make it crispier

Double frying makes it crispier

Reheat in air fryer to reheat and crisp up
